Test builder
Build a test from a prompt or a chapter
Describe it, attach a chapter, or photograph an old paper.
You get questions, marks and an answer key to edit and print.
How it works
Start from anything
Type what you need, attach a chapter as a photo or PDF, or upload an image of a question paper and it extracts the questions.
Shape the draft
Set the academic level, from primary to PhD. Change marks, add sub-questions, or regenerate a question with your own instruction.
Print and publish
Download the paper in a student version and a teacher version with the marks scheme. Publish with a due date and a share link.
What it builds
- Text, multiple choice, image and combination questions
- Sub-questions such as 1a and 1b, each with its own marks
- Sections with a rule: answer all, any N of M, or either this group or that one
- Levels from Primary and Middle through High School, Diploma, Bachelor's, Master's and PhD, plus professional and vocational
- An expected answer and marking points for every question
- Rewrite or regenerate one question with an instruction
- A printable paper in two versions, for students and for the teacher with the marks scheme
- Publish with a due date, instructions, and a link students use to submit

Questions
Can I use my own question paper instead of a generated one?
Yes. Upload an image of the paper and it extracts the questions, or type them in. You can still ask it to write the expected answers for marking.
How are totals worked out for choice sections?
Section rules are applied by code, not by the model. For any N of M, the best N count. For either/or groups, the higher-scoring group counts.
Can students submit online?
Yes. Each published assignment has a link. Students enter their details and submit typed answers or photos, either per question or as one upload.
Does building a test use my gradings?
Creating and editing a test uses a small fraction of a grading for the AI work involved. Grading a student's submission is what counts as one grading.
