Daily revision tests

A revision test every morning, without a pile every evening

Turn yesterday's chapter into five questions, collect the sheets as one scan, and have marks and a weak-concept list before the class sits down.

The test takes ten minutes to sit and about the same to grade, so daily testing stops being a promise and becomes a habit.

How it works

  1. Build the paper from the chapter

Type the topic or attach the textbook pages. Proctor AI writes five to ten questions at the difficulty you ask for, with a marking key you can edit, and a printable student version.

  2. Collect and scan

Students write on a half sheet. Scan the stack as one PDF with the phone or the office scanner. The split finds each student by name or roll number.

  3. See who slipped on what

Marks per student, a trend across the week, and the concept most of the class missed. Reteach that one first.

What it handles

  • Five-question tests built from a chapter, a topic or last week's mistakes
  • A different set for each section, same difficulty
  • Numericals with method marks, MCQs with negative marking, one-line answers
  • Day-by-day trend per student across a month
  • The concept most students missed, with the wrong answers they gave
  • Printable paper and key in one click
  • Results in the student portal the same morning

Who uses it

Why daily testing works, and why it usually stops

Short, frequent tests move marks more than long, rare ones. Students recall the chapter before it fades, and the teacher sees a gap on day two instead of in the term exam. The reason daily testing stops is not the students. It is the forty sheets that need checking every night.

Proctor AI takes the checking. The paper is built in a minute, the marking runs on the scan, and the class report tells you what to reteach. The test becomes the first ten minutes of class rather than the last hour of your day.

A pattern that works in coaching classes

  1. Monday to Thursday: five questions on the previous day's topic.
  2. Friday: ten questions mixing the week, two of them from the questions most students got wrong.
  3. Share each student's trend with their parent once a fortnight from the portal.

Questions

How long does grading take for a batch?

A class of 40 half-sheet tests is usually graded within a few minutes of upload. You can start the lesson and review the summary when it is ready.

Can I reuse a test for another section?

Yes. Duplicate it as it is, or ask for a fresh set of questions at the same difficulty so sections cannot share answers.

Does it work for numericals?

Yes. Method marks follow your key, so a correct method with a slip at the end gets the partial credit you would give.

Is there a limit on tests per day?

No limit on tests. Each student's sheet is one grading from your plan's allowance.
